Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland was the daughter of actors Melissa D. Canaday (New York City) and Edward James Hyland (New York City). She entered the industry at the age of 4 with commercial work as well as voice-overs. The first film she made was Private Parts (1997). Her next film was The Object of My Affection (1998) and spent time on Another World (1964) as "Rain Wolfe" who was a child that was found in the park and fostered by Josie and Gary. Sarah was to work with Amy Carlson ("Josie") for a few more episodes: Falcone (2000). Law & Order (1990). Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast in Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story(2000) as one of the younger Audrey Hepburns. The following year, she was featured on ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999), with Audra McDonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chernoweth, Joe Guld's Secret ((2000) as well as Falcone ((2000)). Sarah was a vocalist, jazz hip hop, tap Theatre Dance and voice. She also performed in her tap class and Theatre class at "Reel to Real" in Lincoln Center as invited performers. Sarah was born in New York and raised in New York. As a child, she was home-schooled. mom, she attended public schools from second grade onwards. Sarah was accepted in 6th year to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) in which she remained until she graduated in 2008 When Sarah was 18 years old and moved to Los Angeles, CA and, within two weeks, had landed a pilot named "My American Family". After being accepted by the airline, the pilot's name changed into Modern Family (2009). Sarah is currently the "Haley Dunphy", an the oldest Dunphy children. Modern Family (2009) has received numerous awards, most notably the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
