Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli American actress and singer, was born on the 20th of October 1983 in Herzliya. Her career began when she served in the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003, she was a star in an Israeli film. It was her biggest breakthrough. She was also a part of two Israeli television shows at that time. She also tried her hand at music and recorded several songs along with Subliminal, an Israeli rapper. Tal moved in with her sister to New York in order to be away from her professional life. She teamed up with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean for the song "Party to Damascus". American television was where she made her mark. Her first part was a regular one on the TV show Veronica Mars. Tal was later offered an regular spot in the short-lived CBS series. She was on two television shows in Israel before changing to New York. Wyclef Jean recorded a track. Hebrew is her mother tongue. She was second in the role as Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the title role. Thomas liked her so much that he designed the character of Meg Manning specifically for her. Thomas served in The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish Her father is Turkish/Jewish , and her has a Polish/Jewish mother. Plays the role of Adrian Monk's daughter in the episode that aired last night. Her father is Turkish/Jewish while her mother is Polish/Jewish.
