Sarah Michelle Gellar Biography

Sarah Michelle Gellar is a talented film actor. She is the beautiful actress who gained fame as Buffy Summers in the TV show 'Buffy the Vampire slayer'. She was always destined to become an actress. She was discovered by an agent when she was only four years old, and was offered to audition for a role in the film for television "An Invasion Of Privacy'. She was then promoted to child model because of the exposure she received in the media. She continued to perform as a young girl on TV shows, and was even offered small roles in Hollywood movies. She appeared as an unassuming young girl in smaller parts in television series such as 'Spenser: For Hire’ and "Crossbow'. In the 1980s, she began to appear in minor roles that were not acknowledged in movies. Her most famous role is that of Buffy Summers (a teenager who kills Vampires) in the television show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". The show was a hugely acclaimed as well as commercial success and was on the air for seven seasons, with more than 144 episodes. Gellar became a household name thanks to the show. She believes in giving back to society and is active in various charities including Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity and CARE. She married Freddie Prinze Jr., her co-star in the film 'I Know What you Did Last Summer', in 2002. They have two kids.
