Biography - Sasha Alexander
Sasha Alexander is of ethnic Serbian descendance. She was born Suzana S.Drobnjakovic in Los Angeles. She began acting in school productions in the seventh grade. She was an ice skater as well however she was forced to quit after suffering injuries to her knee. She continued acting throughout high school and university, then moved to New York to act in summer stock shows and Shakespeare festivals. She graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. There, she was also part of Kappa Alpha Theta. Sasha began her acting career at the age of high school. In seventh grade, she made her debut as an actor. She also became a member of 'Everything Nice', the most well-known pop band when she was fourteen years old. One of the most notable aspects of her career was her performance as 'Special Agent Caitlin Todd' on the series 'NCIS. She continued to play the role for the first two seasons, which ran from 2003 until 2005. Sasha was briefly back in the role she played in the second (2005 guest appearance) season. She got married Edoardo Ponti (an Italian director and father of Sophia Loren). The marriage was celebrated on the 11th of August the 11th of August, 2007. They had two children, daughter Lucia who was born in 2006, and son Leonardo, born in 2010.
