Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. Her career began in productions for television and film such as
"Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Then, she
created projects like Double Dare (1976). She has also appeared in TV shows such
as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman and
Dyna Girl (2001). Perhaps her biggest TV part was "Christine
Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). The actress was on an entire 156 episodes
of this show, from 1984 to 1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post was her mother. She
was a noted poet and nuclear scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14,
1918-April 7, 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26 1987) and Daisy
Ross (born on March 30 the 30th of March, 1990), were her second marriage to
Michael A. Ross. was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut
Creek, California. The school she attended was Las Lomas High School in Walnut
Creek, California; she was a cheerleader. Lewis & Clark College in
Portland Oregon awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a trick roper on
The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). The funeral was held and her ashes
returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post, who was
three months away from her 71st birthday date on November 4, 2021, died on the
7th of August. She passed away 27 days after fellow Night Court (1984) co-star
Charles Robinson, who passed died on July 11, 2021. Though the two shows are
completely different, Night Court (1984) ended in 1992 with her character,
Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire (1992) was
released later that year with Post as a new character Georgie Lahti. The
character was also a part of Washington DC (and later moving to a more rural
town).
