Kaitlyn Anne Vincie
Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987, is an American journalist and sports broadcaster. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie started her journey into stock car racing after she was granted a pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. After SceneDaily published her self-made videos blogs on NASCAR and she was able to draw attention. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before moving with her family to Warrenton at the time Vincie had started high school. Vincie is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret, and has a younger sister. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an instructor in fifth grade, while her grandfather was on the faculty of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always been interested in since a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School, in 2006. Vincie competed in track and field events as well as was the manager of the school’s wrestling team for four years. She was the winner of the 800m race in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who was a mentor and gave Vincie a lot of information. In 2010, she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communication. Vincie was an intern at the Athletics Department of the university. Vincie also held a similar role at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie wrote a senior thesis about gender-based disparities in auto racing which was focused on woman race car driver Danica Patrick. She was interested in the sport after she was granted a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
