Gillian MacLaren Jacobs
Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, born on the 19th of October, 1982 was an American actor from the United States. Britta Perry, a comedian on NBC, is most well-known for her performances in the Netflix series Love (2016-2018), Mickey Dobbs in the romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018) or Atom Eve on Invincible (2021). Mimi-Rose Howard was her recurring character in the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama Girls (2012-2017). She has also appeared in films such as Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) and Don't Think Twice (2016). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 19 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs is her mother and works at Carnegie Mellon University in alumni relations. Her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. Her father William F. Jacobs Jr., died in 2013. Her mother was her caregiver in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family was the owners of the Erie Brewing Company (not to be confused with the later brewery with the identical name) which was where her father, John Martin Magenau Jr., served as the president and CEO until the company closed in 1978.Jacobs started studying acting at the age of 4 and was a student in weekend classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up. She performed with the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she was an all-time winner in the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest, leading her to get the role of Titania in the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. Lebanon High School in 2000, she moved to New York City to attend the Juilliard School, where she was awarded a BFA degree in 2004.
