Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on the 14th of August 1983. Kunis moved along with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years of age. They eventually settled in Los Angeles. It was a hard start for the Kunis family that arrived in their new country with just $250. Kunis parents had both left their professions to help their children. Mark, a retired mechanical engineer was able to get employment as a taxi driver. Elvira who had studied Physics in Ukraine became a pharmacist. Kunis stated that he didn't completely understand American culture when he first arrived in America. "I did not know anyone. I didn't understand the language. My essay to get into college began with, "Imagine being blind and deaf as a child." And that's the experience I had when I moved to America. It was easy to forget. Milena Markovna Kunis is daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was August 14, 1983. She has an older brother. Her mother is a pharmacist and a physics teacher. Her father is mechanical engineering by profession. He doubles up as a driver of taxis. Her family is Jewish. Her family moved from Israel to Los Angeles when she turned seven. Rosewood Elementary School was where she went to school. At nine years old she began learning to act. After auditioning for several commercials, she became an actor in her first television appearance on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. Her first major role in 1998 as Jackie Burkhart on the hit sitcom 'That's the 70s Show'. After receiving rave reviews, she was asked to voice the character of Meg Griffin on animated sitcom  Family Guy.
