Sarah Shahi – Biography
Aahoo, her Persian name (Persian Ahw), is Persian meaning "gazelle". She is an descendant of Fath-Ali Shah Qajar from the Qajar Dynasty. Shahi won the Miss Fort Worth pageant in 1997. In the hopes of becoming an actor she was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (1999-2000) team despite never having cheered before. In her series or films she has played a variety of characters in crime thrillers and detective roles. Also, she was a part of Funny Faces (2012-2016), an CBS crime thriller series. Aahoo Jahansozshahi grew up in Euless Texas. She is the daughter Abbas Jahansuz Shahi (an interior designer) and Mahmonir Sorushazar (an interior designer). Their parents divorced at the age of 10 year old. When Shahi was an extra at the 2012 Monte Carlo TV Festival on the set of Doctor T and Woman in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to go to Hollywood for various roles. part in this show.
