Sarah Michelle Gellar Biography

Sarah was born in New York City on April 14 1977. Sarah had a great beginning to her career in film, even though she was just a child actor. A film agent visited her family in a restaurant and asked if she was interested in performing. Soon, she was in her first film that was made for television, the drama An invasion of Privacy. Sarah grew up in New York City where she was featured in various commercials as well as small-screen and the stage. Her mom, who remains her most trusted mentor, friend and coach, was instrumental in helping her get started with acting. If asked about her remarkable achievement, Sarah is in no doubt about who she should be grateful to. My mother sacrificed her entire life to help my career.
